The Coming Revolution: Artificial Intelligence for Advanced Materials and Product Development

  • Encina Hall 616 Serra Street Stanford, CA, 94305 United States (map)

Artificial intelligence (AI) has brought major change to many industries, but materials and chemicals-enabled product companies (MEPC) have not seen the benefit of these AI technologies. Founded at the Stanford Graduate School of Business by 3 materials scientists, Citrine Informatics was created to bring the power of these technologies to enable the rapid, efficient development of the next generation of high performance materials-driven products: from polymers to alloys to coatings to solar materials. In this presentation, Founder and CEO Greg Mulholland will introduce the business rationale for starting the company, address working within the Japanese market as a Silicon Valley startup, and cover the manufacturing market changes coming from AI-driven product development and optimization techniques.
